EAI / WORKING TECHNICAL PAPER

Separate the design
from the release.

EAI is designed for nodes on REAL Chain. This version distinguishes coded devnet facts, the approved operator model and features that are not active.

STATUS · WORKING DRAFT

This is a versioned public explanation. It is not a final token contract, sale document or proof of current rewards.

Current scope

Three distinct things

EtherealAI 4 with Tenet is software. EAI is the network token planned for node participation. REAL Chain is the separate blockchain on which the EAI node design is built.

An EtherealAI account sign-in is not a REAL wallet connection. This public document does not create either one.

Source-declared

Devnet supply boundary

REAL Chain source configures 50,000 EAI for the devnet genesis tranche and a 500,000 EAI hard cap across future tranches. Node creation reduces supply by burning its EAI cost.

These are devnet source values. They are not a public circulating-supply attestation, a sale allocation or evidence that a new tranche has been issued.

Devnet design

Node creation tiers

The source-defined creation cost is burned when a node is created. These EAI amounts are token quantities, not fiat prices or an offer to buy a node.

Node buyers do not vote on consensus. Buyer nodes cannot be slashed; consensus remains with the project’s validator set.

Approved target

The operator model and its gap

The approved buyer-node model runs a verifying full node on the buyer’s computer. It re-executes transactions and retains full chain history while leaving consensus voting to the validators.

The current home client covers PoSA steps 1–2: signed heartbeats and chain-slice challenges answered from cached or coordinator-fetched blocks in shadow mode. Those checks do not prove retained full history or independent chain verification. Settlement does not read them, and the client earns nothing today. The full-node claim remains a release gate.

Unproven active

Payout status

REAL Chain source contains a version 4 payout policy artifact with REAL, not EAI, as its denomination. A coded artifact is not proof that the policy was published, activated or funded.

No node payouts occur today. This paper does not quote a payout rate, expected return or start date.

What must be proved before release

Public participation needs a verifying node client, measured work and uptime, wallet and network access, a reviewed active policy, published technical documents and independent release evidence.

The website is a versioned explanation of design and current source state. It is not a final contract, a purchase interface or an authorization to operate a node.

Release boundary

A coded policy artifact is not an active payment system. The public pages do not offer tokens, create nodes or connect a wallet.
